# Mentor

> Mentor is an online learning platform for beauty professionals. Learners take structured video courses in makeup, nail art, hair colour, lashes, brows and skincare, taught by vetted working professionals.

Learn makeup, nail art, hair colour, lashes, brows and skincare from professionals who still work with clients every week. Each course shows the prep and the reasoning behind the finished look.

- Every instructor applies and is approved by Mentor's education team, including a review of sample work, before they can publish a course.
- Courses are sorted into four skill levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert.
- Each course is split into modules and short lessons taken in a fixed order.
- Learners can ask the instructor questions under any lesson, and every lesson has notes, bookmarks and transcripts.
- There are two ways to pay: buy a single course once and keep it, or subscribe to All Access for a growing set of included courses at one monthly price.
- A free account includes free courses, course trailers and the community. No credit card is needed to sign up.
- The app runs in English, Spanish, French and Russian. Premium members also get dubbed audio and captions in all four languages.
- Mentor runs on the web today. iPhone and Android apps are coming and will share the same account and progress.
- Courses do not currently come with a certificate of completion.
